"El rescate de un material musical histórico siempre es una buena noticia. Más cuando como en este caso se trata de uno de los grupos pioneros del metal extremo cuyano. Estamos hablando de Bestial Death, banda que marcó el inicio para muchos músicos del país en los estilos más pesados del metal. El sello Execration Distro pudo recuperar dos conciertos del legendario grupo para el álbum Asolando a Las Sectas, lanzado en edición limitada.



Formados como cuarteto a principios de los noventa, la banda comenzaría su existencia bajo el nombre de Neanderthal, que luego de un cambio de integrantes, se modifica para dar lugar a Bestial Death, nombre con el que finalmente se designa al grupo que queda constituido por Marcelo y Rubén Michelli en voz y guitarra respectivamente; Raúl Silva en bajo y Claudio Montiveros en batería. Inicialmente Bestial Death estaba dedicado al metal grindcore con rasgos noise, y luego sería una de las primeras formaciones en destacarse por su unión de death, thrash y black metal. La banda llega a grabar un demo de dos canciones y a presentarse en varias ocasiones en festivales locales y en el Anfiteatro, sitio donde pasaron muchas bandas importantes del metal sanjuanino.



A pesar de que Bestial Death no existe de manera oficial en estos días, su legado persiste. Y la muestra de esto es este material inédito titulado Asolando a Las Sectas, que contiene dos presentaciones en vivo de Bestial Death del año 1993, disponible en formato PRO CD-R limitado a 300 copias al precio de $25, y se podrá conseguir a través del sello Execracion Distro. Todo un verdadero tesoro del metal extremo."
