La escena del metal under argentino tiene ahora un nuevo reflejo por parte del DVD Argentina Extrema Volumen 1, material audiovisual que recopila las actuaciones de cuarenta grupos provenientes de todos los rincones del país, de diferentes géneros del metal nacional, que ya se puede conseguir con diferentes distribuidoras.
La iniciativa surge de Leticia Rodríguez y Miguel Cumpián, quienes ya han trabajado en otros proyectos de difusión de bandas metaleras del país, desde la década de los 90 cuando trabajaban con el fanzine Nuevas Fuerzas. Dentro de los trabajos realizados se pueden contar los dos volúmenes de Argentina Thrash, Argentina Hardcore y Latinoamérica Thrash, materiales que en muchos casos fueron entregados gratuitamente.
Actualmente (2015) el DVD Argentina Extrema Volumen 1 se lo puede conseguir a través de las distribuidoras Execracion Distro, Metal Squad Records y Schizophrenia Producciones, con un precio aproximado de $30. Y a estar atentos porque pronto se vendrá una nueva edición de este material indispensable para conocer el panorama del metal argentino.
