Horcas - Reinará la tempestad (1990): El disco que nos ocupa fue el pie inicial de Horcas, la banda fundada por el ex V8 Osvaldo Civile (QEPD). Musicalmente hablando Reinará la tempestad podría ser asimilado con Luchando por el metal de los aludidos pilares, continuando de alguna forma la contundencia lírica y sonora de aquellos. Se discute si la vieja etapa del grupo es más auténtica o mejor compositivamente hablando que la actual, situación que no nos interesa para nada. Lo cierto es que Reinará la tempestad fue un certero regalo para todos los metálicos que para ese entonces estábamos en busca de nuevos exponentes de la escena local, destacándose himnos como Ardiendo en llamas, Desangren o Devastación. Sin perjuicio de ello, de la actual etapa del grupo recomendamos títulos como Vence y Horcas, un tanto mas melódicos pero con similar garra y predisposición.

📀 Con discos fundamentales como Subconscious Terror, The Grand Leveller y Transcend the Rubicon, Benediction se ganó un lugar de culto en la escena extrema mundial. Tras varias décadas de trayectoria, su regreso con Scriptures en 2020 marcó un renacer: un álbum feroz que prueba que siguen tan vigentes y demoledores como en sus inicios.
