Vomitory, anunció por medio de redes sociales la salida de su fundador y guitarrista Urban Gustafsson, quien estuco en el grupo en tres etapas distintas, una de ellas en la creación del grupo en 1989

En dicho comunicado, la agrupación expresó su agradecimiento hacia Gustafsson por más de tres décadas de dedicación, composición y compromiso con el sonido brutal que convirtió a Vomitory en una de las bandas más respetadas de la escena Death Metal europeo, además de confirmar que la banda continuará con sus actividades y próximos planes en vivo, incluyendo la promoción de su nuevo material discográfico
