- El 9 de NOVIEMBRE de 1991 nos visitó por primera vez MASACRE (Medellín), no se tiene registro que una banda internacional consolidada dentro del DEATH METAL haya tocado en nuestro país anteriormente.

Trasgredíamos con este evento lo que se realizaba hasta la fecha, se empezaba a gestar la locura de toda la década de los 90`s.

El afiche, el aspecto técnico, la organización rebosaba de ingenuidad, pero derrochaba el entusiasmo, honestidad y pasión por una escena que crecía.

El público y bandas nos impulsaban a pesar de lo primitivo y la nula experiencia en producción de eventos

CRY y DAMAGED SKULL (Ambato), BRUTAL MASSACRE, CHANCRO DURO de Quito, fueron las brutales bandas elegidas; para completar el anécdota se invitó a ABADON tocando temas de su autoría en la línea del Death Metal con Ángel Tayo en la voz, el afiche lo realizó Patricio Ortega (voz de BRUTAL MASSACRE).

En un local para 500 personas (sede social El Calzado), teníamos el aforo no autorizado de 1000 almas casi destrozando el lugar.

No teníamos permisos de intendencia, autorización de municipio, pagos de retención en la fuente, menos seguridad policial “que velara por nuestra integridad”, éramos un solo puño, una pasión con rebelión que se consolidaría en los próximos años.
