Increíble. La pieza fundamental del metal extremo del litoral. Nunca lo había escuchado. Un disco que te lleva en la máquina del tiempo a los años de la furia. Un disco furioso, rústico, pero más que notable para la época, dónde muchas bandas de metal argentino tenían grandes discos con buen sonido.

En Misiones estaba todo por hacer y no me caben dudas de los huevos que había que tener para encarar un proyecto tan desde la periferia del metal, desde el profundo del under y desde un lugar tan remoto como la Provincia de Misiones en el año 2000. Recordando, a los que-entre ellos me incluyo- se preguntaban si en Misiones había luz o si los animales salvajes andaban entre la gente.

En el 2000 estaba en 7mo grado y un compañero, un tal Flores que no recuerdo el nombre, me contó que había una banda que se llamaba Infección Crónica que ensayaba cerca de su casa. No entendí muy bien de qué me habló pero si la describió "como Metallica pero más pesado". En los años siguientes seguí escuchando de ellos hasta que recién en 2003 pude ir a un ensayo con un amigo y ver a " estos son los famosos Infección Crónica".

Se me vienen a la cabeza un montón de cosas sobre Infección, fechas, formaciones, pero no deja de dar vuelta en mi cabeza lo que hoy me sienta en realidad, la banda fundamental de mi pueblo - siendo que me adopté como jardinense - la banda fundamental del metal extremo de Misiones y hasta de la región. Amén por este disco que colgaron en la red para que los que andamos inquietos detrás de material de las bandas nacionales, no nos falte el pan y en este caso, muy personalmente, la piedra angular del metal de la tierra colorada.
