Progenitores de la oscuridad: los cinco primeros lanzamientos de black metal más importantes   

El debate continúa décadas después: ¿quién creó el black metal?

La verdad es que el black metal fue una evolución y es subjetivo dónde trazas la línea.

La banda más importante es sin duda Venom de Newcastle, Inglaterra: tomaron la influencia de Motörhead y la hicieron más cruda, más malvada, más extrema. 

Luego vinieron otras bandas que se basaron en lo que hizo Venom, Bathory de Suecia fue más lejos con cuatro álbumes en los años 80, evolucionando el género con cada uno.

Hellhammer de Suiza también tomó la influencia de Venom y corrió con ella, ¡en diferentes direcciones! Con el tiempo se transformó en Celtic Frost e influyó en bandas de thrash, death y doom extremo. 

Quería incluir a Sodom de Alemania en esta lista - merecen una mención - con sus primeros lanzamientos de Witching metal y también In the sign of evil demostrando ser muy influyentes. 

Sin embargo, lo limitaremos a cinco: los dos últimos son de un continente completamente diferente.

Si tuviera que elegir un lugar donde el metal avanzaba más hacia el extremo en los años 80, probablemente fuera América del Sur. 

Sarcófago de Brasil liberó al poderoso I.N.R.I. en 1987, un lanzamiento de referencia en términos de extrema locura.

Tan extremo, de hecho, también se considera un lanzamiento fundamental en el ámbito del war metal, una rama del black metal que intenta llevar lo extremo aún más lejos, con más graves e influencia del death metal incorporados.

Por último, debo mencionar el Parabellum de Colombia.

Son sin duda la banda más desconocida aquí y merecen mucho más reconocimiento por su influencia.

Si escuchas sus primeras grabaciones, escucharás que realmente eran la banda de metal más ruidosa y abrasiva del planeta en ese momento. Influyente en su área local: el estilo fue apodado ultra metal en los años 80. Su material es increíblemente crudo y de alguna manera, a pesar de no ser conocido globalmente, las cintas llegaron a Noruega. Así es, Parabellum fue una influencia fundamental en la escena del black metal de la segunda ola, ¡con Mayhem y otras bandas siendo fanáticos de su caótica locura!
