■ABNORMALS 新しいアルバム 「Z・E ・R・O 」/商品 ■ 発売

ABNORMALSの新作ミニアルバム「Z・E ・R・O 」がついに発売となった。新体制となった彼らの腰がすわった眼光炯々とした今作品。前作よりもスケールの大きい楽曲が聴くモノ観るモノにそのオーラと磁力を持って一歩一歩確実に踏み込んで来ているのが伝わってくるだろう。発売に合わせた新作マーチャンダイズも入荷。9月29日には新大久保EARTHDOMにてレコ発も決行する。

歴史が長い分、数えきれないぐらいの人達がこのバンドに触れていった。そしてこのバンド名を聞いて、30代後半以降のオーディエンスの人達が、懐かしさやノスタルジーを感じる人達が少なくないのは嘘ではないだろう。しかし、リーダーであり、ボーカルのCOMIを除き、メンバーを一新した今のアブノーマルズは、昔の名前で出ていますというような非生産的な時代錯誤感はさらさらないのはもちろんのこと、もっと言えば、新メンバーそれぞれが対峙するバイタリティと気魄を帯びたボルテージが聴く者、観る者に説得力を与えるのであろう。ステージにメンバーが上ってきただけで、無条件に息が詰まるような、魅入ってしまうあの空気である。まだまだ益々磨かれてパワーアップしていくであろう様を感じずにはいられないのはココ最近のライブを見ている人達は感じているはずである。自分たちは何者であり、どこへ向かっているのかというアイディンティティをむき出しにする原動力が今のアブノーマルズからは感じてやまない

結成30周年の今年、アブノーマルズ通算8枚目にあたるミニアルバム「Z・E ・R・O 」の発売された。昨年リリースの「黙示録」から1年あまりでの高速リリースだ。今作品は、サウンドの核である、ボーカリストCOMIの歌唱力には幾多の経験の積み重ねが反映されてきたワンアンドオンリーの存在感と円熟味のある圧倒的な表現力でグイグイと押しまくってくれる。妥協を許さず、媚び諂わず、変化を拒まず、ソリッドに無駄を省いたバンドだからこそたどり着ける新天地は多くの仲間達とリスナー達に与える影響力は計り知れない筈だし、魂の共振と鮮やかな彩りを併せ持つ誇り高きバンドが現体制のABNORMALSなのだ。だからこそ、もっと多くの人達に届けたいし、届けなければと。この記事で一つのとっかかりになればいいと思う。9月29日にはこのアルバムのリリース記念ライブが開催される。これも要チェックだ。
